Massy Arts Society is a non-profit community hub that is partially funded by the First Peoples’ Cultural Council, British Columbia Arts Council, Canada Book Fund, and Massy Books, an Indigenous woman-owned and operated bookstore on the unceded territories of XwMuthkwium (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

An exciting interdisciplinary space bringing diverse voices and practices together, Massy Arts Society is also gratefully supported by community members like you. We aim to support Indigenous and over-excluded artists, authors, and organizers to the best of our capability, and need your support to advance the public’s appreciation of the arts.

In supporting Massy Arts Society, your donation will ensure the sustainability of our space, which means:

  • covering operation costs so staff can provide additional exhibition and event support in collaboration with emerging Indigenous and over-excluded artists
  • supporting an Indigenous-owned and operated non-profit who values collaboration and reciprocity and is governed by a Board primarily comprised of Indigenous women
  • enabling extensive programming including: open talks, debates, book launches, art shows, performances, concerts, fairs, and many others

Consider donating to keep our events accessible and doors open. Please note, as a non-profit we are not able to provide donation slips.
