At The Gallery / Family Day Photo Shoot

On Monday, February 21 from 1pm to 5pm, celebrate Family Day with Massy Arts, Khaliyl’s Kids, and photographer Dule. At the event, families are invited to dress up + put on the best smile to stop time for a moment and capture the essence of love.
Suggested Donation is $10-$25, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds, so just come on down!

The event will be hosted at the Massy Arts Gallery, at 23 East Pender Street in Chinatown, Vancouver.
Covid Protocols: For all in-person events, attendees must provide proof of vaccination, wear a mask (N95 masks are encouraged and recommended as they offer the best protection), and consent to having their temperature checked at the front door. We kindly ask that if you are showing any symptoms, that you stay home. Thank you kindly.

The Photographer
Dule is a South African Canadian photographer based in Vancouver.
He casts his models from the eclectic mix of people that he knows or has noticed in Vancouver and foregrounding characters that are possibly overlooked in our local communities.
He is interested in being able to control light in a way that plays with both colour and contrast.
Other areas of interest in photography include analogue, travel, album covers and events.

The Host
Khaliyl’s Kids creates opportunities for families to interact with each other and their community as well as find a sense of belonging and support. We get children and their families together to go for hikes and bike tours, we love taking family photos, and more.
