Spanning generations, Valley of the Birdtail brings together two families, one white and one Indigenous, and weaves their lives into the larger story of Canada. In conversation with Emilie Lahaie, partner in the Aboriginal Law Group at Cassels, this evening delves into these narratives of these two communities—separate and unequal—and how they create a layered story about community, history and reconciliation.

Still Life Workshop / Drawing Negative Space with Mehran Modarres-Sadeghi
On Saturday, March 11 at 1pm, join Massy Arts and Iranian-Canadian visual artist Mehran Modarres-Sadeghi for the in-person still life workshop, Drawing Negative Space. In this introductory course, attendees will develop skills in drawing objects from observation using various drawing materials such as graphite pencils, charcoal sticks, and India ink/watercolor paints.
